My husband and I had the pleasure of experiencing a retreat with New Roads Retreats. For two people who are in ‘helping professions’, we spend a lot of our time listening to and caring for others. We realized after the first hour or so at the ranch, we don’t often take the time to rest, connect and be listened to by someone else. Both Marty and Catherine are skilled listeners and so easy to be around. They navigate space without crowding or isolating. The property is beautiful, peaceful and has lots of trails and places to explore, meditate and appreciate nature. If you like to work, chop wood or clear brush, you can do that too! We will definitely be back and can’t recommend this experience enough for a refreshing reset.

​We recently spent a weekend with Marty and Catherine. It was a time of rest and refreshment for both of us. We are missionaries to SE India and over the last 2 years have spent much time traveling. This is exhausting! Our time rejuvenated us! The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. It is a property full of God’s peace. Marty and Catherine looked after us well, providing wonderful food and good deep conversations. We had plenty of time to rest and explore the beautiful wooded property and the quaint little town of Coloma. Two days felt like a week of relaxation!​What a gift to us! We look forward to returning!
